Two days before the Leagues Cup kicks off another 47-team World Cup-style tournament between Major League Soccer teams and those from Mexico's Liga MX, star players from both leagues will compete against each other at the MLS All-Star Game at Lower.com Field in Columbus, Ohio.
Wednesday night's All-Star showcase will be the third which pits MLS stars against those from Liga MX. MLS won the most recent matchup, 2-1, in 2022 after prevailing in the inaugural MLS-Liga MX All-Star Game in penalty kicks in 2021.
Last year's MLS All-Star Game featured Arsenal, which the English Premier League club won 5-0.
The return of the MLS-Liga MX All-Star Game should be an appropriate build-up opportunity for the two leagues ahead of Friday's kickoff of the Leagues Cup.
Here's everything you need to know for the 2024 MLS All-Star Game:
What time does the MLS All-Star game start?
The MLS All-Star Game will take place on Wednesday, July 24 at 8 p.m. ET.

Will Lionel Messi play in the MLS All-Star Game?
